Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SlapBro, a macOS application operated by Jamiro Monosi (doing business as SlapBro). By using SlapBro, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

SlapBro is a macOS application that detects physical impacts to your laptop using the built-in accelerometer and plays sound reactions. The Live Remote feature allows you to send a web link to a friend's device and trigger sounds remotely. SlapBro is sold as a one-time purchase for 9.90 CHF (or local equivalent) and includes lifetime access plus all future platform releases (iOS, Windows).

2. License

Upon purchase, you receive a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use SlapBro on Mac devices you own or control. The license is bound to your hardware via your Mac's IOPlatformUUID. You may not:

Resell, rent, sublicense, or distribute SlapBro to others
Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the software
Remove or alter copyright notices or branding
Use SlapBro for illegal activities, harassment, or abuse

We may terminate your license without refund if you violate these Terms.

3. Free Trial

SlapBro includes a free trial: 10 free slap-sounds with the Moan Female sound pack and 1 free Live Remote session. After the trial, you must purchase a license to continue using paid features.

4. Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. You will be charged the displayed amount in CHF, EUR, or USD at the time of purchase. The license is a one-time purchase — there is no subscription or auto-renewal.

See our Refund Policy for details. In short: refunds are available within 14 days of purchase if you have not substantively used Live Remote.

6. User-Generated Content (Voice Recordings)

When you record voice messages in SlapBro, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store and transmit those recordings only for the purpose of operating Live Remote sessions. We delete recordings after the session ends. You retain all rights to your recordings. You are responsible for ensuring your recordings do not violate the rights of others (no harassment, no illegal content, no unauthorized impersonation).

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use SlapBro to harass, threaten, or harm others
Send Live Remote links to people who have not consented to receive them
Upload illegal, offensive, or copyrighted content as voice recordings
Attempt to access other users' license keys or sessions
Use automated tools to flood our infrastructure

SlapBro is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantees about uptime, compatibility with future macOS versions, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not responsible for damage caused to your Mac by physical slapping — slap responsibly.

10. Limitation of Liability

Our maximum liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for SlapBro (typically 9.90 CHF). We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

11. Termination

You may stop using SlapBro at any time. We may suspend or terminate your license for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, you must uninstall SlapBro and cease all use.

Service Discontinuation: If SlapBro service is permanently discontinued, customers who purchased a Lifetime License within the prior 12 months will be eligible for a prorated refund. Affected customers will be notified by email at least 30 days before service termination, with refund instructions.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Thurgau, Switzerland.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced via email and on this page. Continued use of SlapBro after changes means you accept the new Terms.
